Welcome to the May edition of the Barn Shops Buzz, your guide to everything happening at 1609 Baltimore Pike. Since 1969, we’ve put “Community First,” and this month is no exception. Whether you’re looking for local art, live music, or a bit of local history, there’s something for everyone at the Barn.
“Live in moments that matter.”

Q: What makes Punctuate Your Style interior design and home shop unique?
A sense of curated, comfortable luxury. Everyday pieces blend with those that hold more meaning and value.
Q: What inspired you to start a women-owned business?
I wanted to create a space that allowed me to channel my creative energy, while helping people create spaces that calm their energy.
Q: What do you hope it becomes?
A more integral part of the community. Not only a home decor shop + interior design studio, but a place that hosts events and introduces local artisans to the community.
Q: One thing people might not know?
I have nine very well-behaved animals (cats, dogs). Come visit Phoebe at Barn Shops on Fridays!
Community Feature
16 Acre Joseph Davis Tract, Chadds Ford, PA
In spring 2025, the North American Land Trust finalized its acquisition of the 16-acre historic Joseph Davis Tract in Chadds Ford. The preserved property will be open to the public, offering hiking trails, historical programs, and pollinator habitats. As NALT President Steven Carter put it, “We are proud to honor both the natural and cultural legacy of this land and community.”
The Artist's Voice
Claire Coslop
“I create windows into other worlds that already exist and are every bit as real as our own, often using several media to represent the multifaced nature in all of us. I create, destroy, and create again, taking the roles of Shiva and Vishnu, Romulus and Remus, Almond Joy and Mounds. Flowers and geometric primitives often make appearances, tethering the otherwise multiform works and signifying the organic and synthetic, feminine and masculine, and a third thing. Get rad!”
